March 8th: A Day to Celebrate Women and the Commitment to Equality

On the occasion of March 8th, we wish to honor the women who have fought for freedom and equality, and remind everyone of the importance of continuing this fight

Every year, March 8th is an opportunity to honor the women who, throughout history, have worked for freedom and equality. It is a day to highlight their struggles, but also to remind everyone of the importance of continuing this momentum. In Suresnes, where our Les Huilettes creation lab is located, this mobilization takes on full meaning through a program of dedicated events.

In Suresnes, A Month Dedicated to Equality

As part of the Month of Equality, the city of Suresnes organizes various events to raise awareness and highlight women’s commitment:

  • Roundtable on Berthe Leymarie: A lecture led by David Coelho, territorial heritage curator, on the crucial role of this committed architect and urban planner. A discussion will follow with researchers specializing in urbanism and gender.

  • Exploratory Visit of the Cité-Jardins: A guided tour of this iconic site, led by usage experts and researchers, with historical and heritage counterpoints.

Take a Moment for Yourself

In this spirit of recognition and transmission, this day is also an invitation to take a break. Because taking care of oneself is part of this balance, it is essential to slow down and reconnect with what matters most.

It is in this mindset that MIST, our hydrating and soothing mist, naturally fits into this well-being time. Winner of the Victoires de la Beauté 2024-2025 in the Bio and Virtuous category, it embodies a gentle and respectful to the planete. Fine and light, it offers a moment of freshness and serenity every day.

On this March 8th, let’s honor those who push for equality, celebrate their strength, and also take time to reconnect, with gentleness and kindness.
