Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) vegetable oil is often used in cosmetics, as it is rich in unsaponifiables - vitamin E and phytosterols with antioxidant properties - and omega 6 essential fatty acid, to act as a protector. It also has a texture that penetrates well. In a body care product, it's perfect for that all-important “dry oil” touch before getting dressed.

Where to find it ?

Sunflowers thrive in hot, dry climates. In France, it can be found in summer in Poitou-Charentes, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Centre Val de Loire and Occitanie.
