Carrot (Daucus carota) essential oil is regenerative par excellence.
Widely used in dermatology for its cell-stimulating action, perfect for helping healing in synergy with Lavender essential oil. We also love it for its spot-fighting and healthy-glow benefits.
Where to find it?
Carrot seed essential oil is extracted from the Carrot root and is rich in nutrients beneficial to health. Carrots grow mainly in Europe, including France.
What are its cosmetic benefits?
- Regenerating and healing, it can help stimulate skin cell regeneration and reduce dark spots.
- Bronzing, by stimulating melanin production in the skin, it can help achieve a natural tan. It can also help protect the skin against UV rays, but in no way replaces a sunscreen.
- Antiseptic natural, inhibits the development of certain dermatophytes (fungi) responsible for certain skin infections.
Does it have any other known virtues?
- General tonic.
- Liver comfort, detoxification after medication or dietary excess through its depurative action.
