R as Rapeseed oil

Rapeseed oil (Brassica napus) is very interesting for its complete omega composition (3, 6 and 9) and its antioxidant action thanks to the vitamin E it contains.

Where to find it?

Rapeseed grows abundantly in France, particularly in the Ile de France and northern regions, but also in Germany, Canada and India.

What are its cosmetic benefits?

- Anti-inflammatory, it contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid with anti-inflammatory properties, ideal for soothing irritated skin.
- Nutritive, rich in essential fatty acids, which help maintain skin hydration. It is often used to soothe feelings of tightness associated with cutaneous dryness.

Does it have any other known virtues?

- Rapeseed oil acts on vessel elasticity. It protects arterial walls and helps prevent cardiovascular disorders.

Rapeseed oil cannot be heated. Once opened, we recommend keeping it refrigerated, away from air and light.
