H as Hemp
The use of Hemp (Cannabis sativa) vegetable oil in cosmetics is not very common.
We are all familiar with Cannabis, the plant from which it's extracted. It's the seeds of one of its varieties, devoid of THC (Tetra Hydro Cannabinol, a psychotropic agent), that will be pressed to give Hemp oil.
Rich in Omega 3, hence its anti-inflammatory action, it is also very fluid and rapidly absorbed. It is also photo-protective, but we recommend always wearing sunscreen before exposure.
