H as Ho wood
Hô wood essential oil (Cinnamomum camphora linaloolferum) is a must in cosmetics. With its regenerating, toning and firming properties, it is our anti-aging ally.
Hô wood essential oil is also known by its more exotic name, Shiu essential oil. It is its wood that is distilled. Not to be confused with Rosewood, whose resources are tending to disappear (the IUCN has just classified Rosewood as an endangered species, to be protected absolutely). Its delicate fragrance is similar and its virtues are very similar.
Where to find it?
Hô Wood essential oil is extracted from the Hô Wood tree (Cinnamomum Camphora). Hô Wood originated in China and now grows in Asian forests.
