In October we are all Rose Up

At the Huilettes, several causes are close to our hearts and breast cancer is one of them.

PINK OCTOBER, IT'S NOW!
The month dedicated to breast cancer awareness begins today.
At the oilettes, we take to heart to keep you informed throughout this month.

WHY IS AWARENESS SO IMPORTANT?
Organized screening has existed since 2004, covering gynecological appointments and mammograms for women at from 50 years old. Despite this, more than 40% of women do not take the time to be screened, yet 9/10 breast cancers are overcome if diagnosed early.

WHAT ACTIONS CAN YOU TAKE?
- Donations to associations
- Participate in charitable events such as races or yoga classes for fight against this type of cancer
- Encourage those around you to screen

DO YOU KNOW ROSE UP?
RoseUp Association was created in 2011 at initiative of two friends, Céline Lis Raoux, (journalist) and Céline Dupré (communicator).
Both, each with their own experience, one affected by cancer, the other close to a patient, had been confronted with the difficulty of finding information during and after the illness.
No professional media existed for the 3 million cancer patients in France. Women, in particular, were left alone with their questions regarding their treatments.
This is how this Rose magazine was born for women suffering from cancer.
